Jerris Wade


Jerris has a certification in Nonprofit Management through the Center for Community Engagement at St. John Fisher College and a B.A. in Communications with a minor in studio art from S.U.N.Y. Brockport. He's a proud alum of the School of the Arts, Rochester NY. Jerris has a strong passion for the Arts and understands the positive impact the arts have on our educational system and community. He believes that offering youths the tools and resources to be creative at an early age allows them time to develop an understanding and appreciation for the arts. He believes that when you’re passionate about what you do, you tend to live a more productive life.




Kory Samuels


Kory Samuels was born and raised in the Rochester area. He currently is an executive in the hospitality industry. His experiences as a youth attending the School of the Arts drew him to the opportunity in serving the Student Arts Foundation as a member of the leadership team. Kory’s background in business, familiarity with the Rochester community, coupled with his role in the student’s arts foundation, fortifies his passion for helping people in any capacity.




Bernice Torbitt

Bernice is a Rochester native and has experienced first hand the positive impact that the arts can have within the local community. She is a graduate of School of the Arts and believes her education greatly influenced her artistically and culturally. Bernice obtained a B.S. in International Business from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a M.S. in Strategic Leadership from Roberts Wesleyan College. One of her passions is to serve others in the community.




Stephanie Bancroft


Stephanie works as an independent art advisor and appraiser of fine and decorative art; she is an Associate member of the Appraiser’s Association of America. A proud Rochester native and graduate of School of Arts, Stephanie received her B.A. in Art History from American University, and studied for an MPhil in Islamic Art and Archaeology at the University of Oxford before returning stateside to obtain a M.A. in American Fine and Decorative Art from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York. Stephanie is delighted to be working and living in her beloved hometown. She is excited to play an active role in the growth of Rochester’s vibrant arts and music scenes, and to have the opportunity to give back to her community.
