Arts Forward Rochester: An Educator Gathering!
Student Arts Foundation is excited to host Arts Forward Rochester: An Educator Gathering. An evening dedicated to bringing together arts educators, teaching artists, school leaders, and creative education partners from across the Greater Rochester community.
Arts educators play a critical role in inspiring creativity, building confidence, and opening doors for young people. This gathering is an opportunity to step away from the classroom, connect with fellow educators, and contribute to a meaningful conversation about the future of arts education and access in Rochester.
Whether you teach visual arts, music, dance, theatre, media arts, or another creative discipline, your voice matters.
Throughout the evening, participants will enjoy light refreshments, engage in collaborative activities, network with fellow educators, and share their perspectives on the opportunities and challenges facing arts education today. Together, we’ll explore ways to strengthen partnerships, improve access for students, and identify opportunities for future collaboration across schools, arts organizations, and the community.
The insights gathered during this event will help inform Student Arts Foundation’s future programming and may contribute to the development of a Rochester Arts Educator Task Force dedicated to advancing arts education throughout our region.
