Meet Stephanie Bancroft, the dynamic Vice President of Strategic Development at the Student Arts Foundation. Stephanie is an accomplished independent art advisor and appraiser of fine and decorative art, and an Associate member of the Appraiser’s Association of America. As a proud Rochester native and graduate of the School of the Arts, Stephanie has always been deeply connected to the vibrant arts community.

Stephanie’s academic journey is impressive, having earned her B.A. in Art History from American University, and studied for an MPhil in Islamic Art and Archaeology at the University of Oxford. She further enriched her expertise with an M.A. in American Fine and Decorative Art from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York. With extensive experience in the New York art and auction world, Stephanie brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role.

Returning to her beloved hometown, Stephanie is thrilled to play an active role in the growth of Rochester’s arts and music scenes. Her goal is to give back to the community through the Student Arts Foundation, leveraging her art and networking backgrounds to create opportunities and foster artistic expression. Stephanie is dedicated to supporting underrepresented youth, helping them explore and develop their creative talents.
