Arts Day 2026
Arts Day is the Student Arts Foundation’s annual event where Rochester youth ages 5–16 spend the day creating with local arts organizations. Designed to expand access and build confidence, Arts Day introduces families to new creative opportunities and connects them to continued arts engagement through SAF’s support programs.

We’ve outlined each Arts Day activity to help families clearly understand what their child will experience throughout the day. By sharing detailed descriptions and age-level expectations, parents can confidently select the class that best matches their child’s interests, skill level, and creative goals.

Creative Design
Explore imagination and innovation through hands-on design challenges that blend art, color, and visual storytelling.

Move, groove, and build confidence through guided dance instruction that introduces rhythm, choreography, and expressive movement.

Drawing & Painting
Develop artistic skills using a variety of tools and techniques while creating original artwork inspired by creativity and self-expression.
