Join us for a hands-on creative experience as part of the R-Center Arts Series, where local artists and organizations lead engaging workshops for Rochester youth.

In this interactive session, participants will explore the fundamentals of music and instrument play in a fun and supportive environment. Guided by a teaching artist, students will be introduced to foundational techniques across a variety of instruments.
Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with different instruments, learn basic rhythms and melodies, and begin developing core musical skills. This session encourages creativity, expression, and confidence, giving youth a chance to discover their interest in music while building a strong foundation for continued learning.

- A guided, step-by-step workshop led by a local artist
- Hands-on learning in sculpting and design techniques
- A collaborative and creative environment with peers
- A completed, take-home piece by the end of the session
This session is designed to be both fun and skill-building, giving youth the chance to explore a new medium while connecting with other young creatives in the community.
